Chapter Requirements

IBE University Chapters are required to meet the following requirements.

• Be an organization in which the majority of members are students at the University.
• Maintain at least five members in the national Institute of Biological Engineering
• Have membership open to any discipline, program, or department of the University.
• Develop and submit bylaws that are specific to the chapters needs and wishes. Of course, they must meet the approval of University Chapters Committee.
• Submit an annual report of activities conducted by the chapter to the University Chapters Committee. This report is due on February 15th of each year.
• Have your charter renewed by review every five years by the University Chapters Committee.
