- Airport Information
The Chapel Hill/Orange County Visitors Bureau recommends the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) for flights to and from Chapel Hill. The airport is approximately 25-35 minutes from the Sheraton Chapel Hill. Please see the Ground Transportation section for additional information about transfer option to and from the hotel.

The Transportation Security Administration provides up to date information about travel conditions and regulations. Please visit their web site prior to traveling to avoid any problems during check-in. Also, note the following while preparing to travel:
- New FAA requirements to enhance security mandate that customers are allowed one carry-on bag plus one personal item onboard. Personal items include the following: purses, briefcases and laptop computers.
- TSA airline standards require that you do not lock your checked luggage.
- All luggage must be tagged with your name, address and telephone number.
- We recommend that you carry all travel documents, air tickets, personal items, money, medicine, and valuables in your carry-on.
- Ground Transportation from Raleigh-Durham International Airport
You may choose from a taxi cab or rental car for transportation to the Sheraton Chapel Hill. The average one-way fare from the airport to Chapel Hill is .70.

- Take exit 174A to 15-501 South 8 miles towards Chapel Hill across Interstate 40.
- Continue for approximately 1.2 miles to the Europa Drive/Erwin Road intersection.

- Take the first left into the main drive of the hotel.
- From Raleigh-Durham International Airport
- Take Interstate 40 West to Exit 270.
- Turn left on 15-501 South to Chapel Hill.

The attire for the 2008 Annual Conference is business casual with the exception of the Awards Banquet on Saturday, March 8 which is business casual.
